In this "FAQ" or "Frequently Asked Questions," we have gathered as many questions as possible that you may have before purchasing our products or when using them in your sport. However, if you cannot find the answer to your question, please do not hesitate to contact us.

about Guidetti products

All Guidetti hiking, trail running, and Nordic walking poles are manufactured at our headquarters: 85 rue Louis Barran 38430 Saint Jean Moirans, on the outskirts of Grenoble.

We have a factory outlet at our head office (85 rue Louis Barran, 38430 Saint Jean Moirans). It is open Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. There you will find advice, services (repair and maintenance of your poles, spare parts), and of course our entire range of hiking, Nordic walking, and trail running poles, as well as clearance products at preferential rates.

With the exception of children's poles (JVA Patt), the Terre de Trek cane, the Terre de Trek Opinel pole and the traditional pole, our poles are sold in pairs.
Each product sheet also states whether they are sold with accessories: summer baskets, winter baskets, caps, storage cover.

All accessories sold with the poles are listed in the product sheet.
Nordic walking poles are sold with their Padapt caps.
Trail running poles are sold with "summer" baskets and a storage cover (except for the "Plume" and B-Light Spatio models).
Hiking poles are sold with two pairs of baskets (summer and winter) and caps (except for the JVA Patt children's poles and the traditional pole).

Telescopic hiking and ski touring poles are adjustable, so they suit everyone.

For the models available in 2 sizes (Flashlock, B-Light and T3), here are some details:
- 38-125 cm models: they are suitable for people up to 1.85 m tall (minimum adjustment height: 1.08 m)
- 42-135 cm model: they are suitable for people at least 1.60 m tall (minimum adjustment height: 1.14 m)

At the start, on the flat, your elbow should form a 90° angle and your forearm should be in a horizontal position.

Guide taille des bâtons Guidetti

Except for the Nomade range, which consists of adjustable poles (2 or 3 sections), Nordic walking poles are single-section and must therefore correspond to the height of the walker.

You can easily determine the size of your poles using the following formula:
0.68 x your height in cm = pole size

At the start, on the flat, your elbow should form a 90° angle and your forearm should be in a horizontal position.

If you are hesitating between two sizes, choose:
- the smaller size for more comfort
- the larger size for more propulsion

Nordic walking pole size

Except for the B-Light Spatio and Platinium Flexo models, which are adjustable, trail poles are most often fixed-size. They must therefore be chosen according to the runner's height.

You can easily determine the size of your poles using the following formula:
0.68 x your height in cm = pole size

At the start, on the flat, your elbow should form a 90° angle and your forearm should be in a horizontal position.

Measurement of Guidetti trail poles (see diagram below):
- for models with fixed handles (Aéro Perf, Aéro Pulse, Silver): measure from the tip to the top of the pommel
- for models with detachable handles (Néo Perf, Néo Pulse, Flexo): measure from the tip to the gauntlet attachment (at the screw, under the clip), i.e. 5 cm less than the total height of the pole.
